VICA 1114 – is a light silicate calcium insulation board. Due to their high resistance to carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons, VICA 1114 boards can be used in furnaces with a reducing atmosphere. They do not decay after 200 hours of exposure to CO at 450°C. Low thermal shock resistance eliminates their use as liner working layer. However, they work perfectly as a back layer under linings made of concrete or refractory fittings.
VICA 1114 is available in the form of boardss, pipe lagging and fittings according to individual needs. A version impregnated or coated with aluminum is also available.
